Tuesday, August 19 - Thursday, August 21
8:30am-11:30am
This camp, for ages 10-12+, is designed as an advanced course for those who have taken the beginner camp or who have experience with 3D printers. Campers will learn in depth about how to break down objects into their basic shapes and have an opportunity to learn how complex 3D objects are printed from the ground up. Each camper will get to bring home a complex 3D printed object that they design themselves using free and accessible software. In addition, campers will try hands-on art and science activities to further explore 3D objects, melting, and matter.
(Please note that this camp is for children ages 10-12. If your child is older than 12, but would like to attend, please contact us to learn more: nicole@childrens-museum.org.)
Each day starts with time to explore the museum, followed by activities in the classroom, and time to play games and have a snack outside in the park (weather permitting). Campers need to bring along water and a snack for this camp.
Cost is $155 for Members and $170 for Non-members. Registration begins Wednesday, January 22 for Members and Wednesday, January 29 for Non-members.
