Admission Pass

You can purchase individual admission passes to the museum to use as gifts for your friends and family. These passes do not expire. If you purchase 50 or more passes you will receive a 25% discount. Passes come in the form of e-tickets, which can be printed (or shown on your phone) and presented when visiting the museum.

PLEASE NOTE: All guests, including those who have purchased these admission passes, must go online and reserve a date/time for their visit. When you go to reserve a date/time online with these passes, please choose the "Adult w/discount (will pay at door)", etc. price types. This will allow you to reserve your spot for free. Then simply present your admission pass when you arrive at the museum.

Please reserve online here: https://childrens-museum.org/plan-your-visit/

CMNH Admission

Visitors to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire must reserve their spots prior to their visit; please reserve for the exact number of people visiting the museum.

If you are unable to select a specific date/time that means tickets are SOLD OUT for that session. If you are unable to enter your desired number of tickets, that means there are not enough tickets available for that date/time to complete your requested order.

CMNH Members, please use the register/sign-in buttons at the top right of this page to receive your free admission! When creating an account, use the same name and email you used when you signed up for a membership. Once you’ve signed in, you will be able to select your ticket types (not w/discount tickets); the total will be zeroed out when you view your cart.

If you need to apply any sort of discount (including CMNH admission passes or reciprocal benefits from a participating ACM or ASTC organization) to your admission and you do not have a discount code, please choose the 'Adult/Child w/discount will pay at the door' ticket options. When you arrive for your play session, we will ask for proof of your discount and take payment. If you do have a discount code, please select the full price ticket types (not w/discount tickets). On the next page, you will be able to enter your code and the discount will be applied to your order.

HEALTH & SAFETY

By reserving tickets to visit the Museum, you are agreeing to follow our health and safety guidelines and museum rules. Please, leave strollers at home or be prepared to park them in our coat room; we encourage you to bring baby carriers or borrow one from the museum.

REFUNDS & RESCHEDULING

Your reservations are specific to the date/time you reserved for. If you need to visit on a different date/time, please contact us at questions@childrens-museum.org. Refunds are not available unless a guest is unable to visit due to illness, AND we are unable to reschedule their visit, AND we are notified prior to the scheduled visit.

GROUPS
Please DO NOT reserve tickets for groups here.  If you buy tickets for groups over 10 visitors here instead of scheduling a group visit through our bookings manager, we may have to turn away your group.

Summer Library Program

Dinosaur Detectives

CMNH Educators take hands-on play on the road visiting libraries throughout New Hampshire and Maine through our Summer Library Program. Our program is designed to complement the national summer library reading theme, and features hands-on activities, fun facts, and a make-and-take STEAM project.

COST: $290 for up to 40 children and including all materials
For libraries located farther than a 50 mile radius from the museum, the program cost is $340  + mileage fees for the added staff travel time.

Mileage Fee & Details: A travel fee of 75 cents per mile will be required for libraries located beyond a 10 mile radius of the Museum's Dover location.

How to book: Libraries will reserve a date online below for $0 to secure the date. In your acknowledgement email that comes after you reserve, there are questions for you to answer. Please answer those questions promptly so our educator doesn't have to reach out to you to confirm the details. The full program fee will be sent to you via an invoice and is due no later than 2 weeks prior to the program.

Please note that the time of this event is just a placeholder and you will be able to choose a time, on the hour, between 10am and 3pm (10-11am, 11am-Noon, Noon-1pm, 1-2pm or 2-3pm or 3-4pm).

A Self-Guided Group Visit is perfect for organizations looking to explore on their own. Can be scheduled for groups between 10 (minimum) and 60 (maximum) children and their *adult chaperones.

All groups are required to have one adult chaperone for every 5 children visiting the museum. Any additional chaperones beyond this ratio will be charged regular admission to the museum (they may use discount programs if applicable but there is not a discount for attending with the group). Please note that we no longer offer classrooms for snack or lunch.

31-40 Students + 8 Adult Chaperones: $400
41-50 Students + 10 Adult Chaperones: $500
51-60 Students + 12 Adult Chaperones: $600

* 1-to-1 Aides are ALWAYS free and do not count towards the total adult chaperones

The non-refundable $50 deposit purchased here will reserve your date and time. We will reach out to you after you reserve and confirm the number of children and adults joining this program. The balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the visit date.

Drop-in Programs: Due to the discounted rate of group visits, special drop-in activities happening at the Museum that are available for regular visitors, are not available for groups.

When booking this visit online, please only put in the number "1" when choosing the options below (in other words, you won't put in the number of visitors here. You are only reserving the date and paying the deposit here.) Right after booking you will receive an email with a prompt for you to send more information to us about your total numbers, contact info, etc.
