Cracking the Behavior Code: Understanding the Why, Strengthening the How
With Occupational Therapist Gina Apgar

Wednesday, March 11, 5-6:30pm

Strengthen your parenting toolkit with this two-part series designed to help you understand your child more deeply and respond with confidence. Together, these workshops give parents and caregivers a clearer understand of why behaviors happen and how to respond in ways that strengthen relationships and support healthy development.

Today is Part 1—Decoding Children's Behavior. Explore how temperament, developmental stages, and reinforcement shape the way children act and react. This session helps parents/caregivers make sense of challenging moments and offers practical approaches you can use right away. Gina Apgar, LICSW is a clinical social worker with 20 years' experience working with children and families in various roles including early education, home visiting, family support, healthcare, and advocacy

Pre-registration is required for these free workshops, which include a simple pizza dinner (5–5:30pm), as well as limited free childcare for ages 4 and up (must use bathroom independently) for participating families during speaker presentation (5:30–6:30pm).
